I guess I'd have to say #2 like everyone else. Either you or mbunafishkeeper definately need to work on a project to produce more xanthic mana's. Your two jags are two out of only a handful of jags in the world that are guaranteed to carry the xanthic gene, so I would keep them both. If you breed your jags with a normal jag, then half of the fry will carry the xanthic gene. It will be guess and check to figure out who is who, but if you can find a pair of xanthic gene fish and breed them, then 25% of their fry will be homozygous for the xanthic trait, and will show xanthic coloration.

i would keep the 1st myself being that's it's a male where as the second is obviously female. thier both great but i love the added few inches full grown males have.

Actually you should keep the male and sell the female to Mbunafishkeeper to breed with the male Xanthic. Just make a deal that you get 1/2 of any Xanthic offspring if there are any.
