What kind is this??

I got this guy at my LFS...he was a trade-in. I tried to reserach, but couldn't figure out for sure what kind he was...any ideas? The dorsal fin is throwing me off...Thanks.

The first half of the dorsal has been chewed/damaged. Hopefully it should grow back as that is one cool plec. Hit up davo/WyldFya for some I.D.

I agree...it does look like something nipped at his dorsal, but it just seemed so perfect, that it almost looked natural.

So, anyone have suggestions??

Gold nuggets are a different fish from the one pictured. Gold nuggets are L018, L081, L177. They are black with yellow spots and yellow seams.
