Come on guy you own silvers and blacks just look at the last part of the tail

I'm shocked this thread has got to 5 pages with all the SA aro keepers on MFK

My fish is around 9-11 inches. Less then a foot. And also
he didn't come from a lfs. He came from a guy that imports his fish and sells them
to lfs and private owners.

Also the picture of the baby black arowana is gorgeous!!!

A 9-11" black aro would look closer to this,

There are several guilty parties in here:

First culprit is the OP, with his lousy pix.

Second culprit is the aro itself, who should know what species it belongs to.

Third culprit is T1Karman ( Richard, who, with his "rubbish" accusation, got my nerves in a jitter ).

Fourth culprit is Brian who should have said BLACK.

Fifth culprit is this ole, ole, dawg, who should have said BLACK and, abusing his powers, close the thread immediately afterwards.

I would swear it is a black. Am going to give all my aros away and start again.....

Have fun, you all. ;)

Of course, OP, you could just take a tissue sample and sequence your arowana's DNA and then you'd know for sure what species it was. :grinno:
