What kind of budget should I be looking at?

In the 600 gallon, what about this tank:
-Niger catfish
-Black arowana
-Motoro stingray
-4 red hook black bar silver dollars
-2 oscars
-2 orinoco peacock bass
Think I could add a few other fish? Probably would be severums, banded leporonus, and chocolate cichlid. There would also be another smaller (more like 150 gallons) tank tied in to house larger bichirs and maybe a datnoid or something.

Stocking the tank is the easy part. Build it first than worry about stocking later.

What do you think, is $2,000-$2,500 a good fish budget for this project?

I will be calling about donations soon. I'll get the tanks and stand set up first, then worry about specific fish to get.

maybe give me some ideas for the future,

finally set up my 240 and has been running now for 4 days with a cycled canister filter and by Sunday I will be adding the first fish in the tank to help out
