Great stuff then. They are funding it now?OP has delivered... 60 gallon reef is now set up at the school. This is a trial tank - if this goes well, we will get to go Monster in the next 8 months or so. I will get pics of it when I go in tomorrow
Well... sort of. They're funding maintenance on the tank. All of the stuff so far was donated.Great stuff then. They are funding it now?
Cool stuff. I am redoing a teachers small tank with stuff i have lying around actually. Good luck!Well... sort of. They're funding maintenance on the tank. All of the stuff so far was donated.
This is their "trial run" - they want to see how one tank will work out before dumping thousands of dollars into multiple large tanks.

Good stuff. I have little knowledge on salt tanks so ill leave that to youThanks! I'm headed over at about 1:00, I will be sure to take a few pics. First step is to get it ready for a sump/fuge - it's running on a HOB filter right now. I'm going to build an algae turf scrubber for it, an ATO unit, and then start to look for some cheap coral frags. After that, we should be set for a while but I want to change the stock around. Currently there's a lemonpeel angel (drop dead gorgeous fish), two green chromis, a huge royal gramma (4 inches at least, bigger than I've ever seen), and a single banggai cardinalfish. I want firefish and a midas blenny at least, so I will probably rehome most of the fish.
Lol, guess that means your tank is going to be set up as fw?Good stuff. I have little knowledge on salt tanks so ill leave that to you![]()
its a small hex tank, and it is just guppies with some wood and plants that we have spare. Hornwort grows ridiculously fastLol, guess that means your tank is going to be set up as fw?
