What kind of camera do you use?

Canon 30D

I mostly shoot with a Nikon D7000, and a Canon S90. Honestly, the best pics I get are with the $349 Canon S90, which is a point-and-shoot. This is due to the distortion (?) caused by the tank glass whenever you shoot from any angle other than head on. I just hold my S90 right up to the glass (lens literally touching tank) and wait for the fish to position themselves!

There's a great resource on cameras here: www.kenrockwell.com

Oh, I should add that the coolest pics in my tank have been taken with a GoProHD. It's a waterproof adventure camera usually used for extreme sports. You just pre-program it to take photos at any interval you want (we did 5 rapid fire photos every 10 seconds), and drop it in the tank. My fish got very curious about their new visitor, which made for some cool shots!

Nikon L110 it's for the most part an upgraded point and shoot, it works ok. I still haven't figured out to use most of the features. This comming from a guy that misses phones with a dials. :D

I just got an Olympus E-5. So far I love it!
