I have 1 venestus, 1 kyoga flameback, and about 6-7peacocks, 2 acei blue, 1 colbolt blue. What can I put in the tank to help control the algae and left over food the others don’t eat? Also what kind of other peacocks or haps can I put in my tank. I only have lemon jakes and red empress.

tank size is 75 gallons.

If I’m not mistaken I think some species of synodontis catfish work well with African fish. They will def eat leftover food in your tank. I can not recommend which species does well in a 75g though.

Thank you for your recommendation. I will do some research on which species will work.

Any Plecotomus Catfish will do well as far as temperament with Cichlids -- I am adding 2 to my 60 gallon tank, but they can grow up to 24" so you will have to have a back up plan when it comes to moving them out.
*I added a few photos of some for you to see what type

Any Haps, Peacocks, and Lemons will generally tolerate each other. It's recommended not to add any Mbuna's into the tank with Peacocks though.

A good rule of thumb is to avoid any of similar color and you can always add a little more food in the tank to curb aggression. (Obviously just be sure not to overfeed)

Thank your for your recommendation and pictures. I was told from my lfs that the acei blue and colbolt blue will be fine but I will put them in a temporary 40 gallon breeder until I can get upgrade to a 125 gallon For my peacocks and haps and use the 75 to start up a mbuna tank. (Money and space is tight ever sense covid-19) Once me and my girlfriends room mate moves out and I have more money saved up I will be getting one.

IMO, Aggressive Botia loaches make very good scavengers in an African Cichlid tank. Any of the Tigers - Syncrossus
Berdmorei, Hymenophysa & Helodes (particularly aggressive). YoYo's would probably do well.
I keep, four Red Tails Loaches (Y. Modesta) & a solo Berdmorei Tiger in my African cichlid community.
The noted loaches are very durable, efficient scavengers, but need a well constructed hardscape to survive.
Some successfully keep Clown Loaches with African Cichlids. IMO they are a little too shy & fragile. Loaches won't graze on algae. Your mbuna should be grazing on algae, but not to the point that manuel cleaning will be eliminated.
Your tank is pretty much maxed out. The Venustus will likely eventually out grow the tank. If your fish are still juveniles, look into getting a few Rusty Cichlids, a relatively peaceful Mbuna & a Steveni Tiawan Reef Hap. A smaller algae grazing Hap. The males are very colorful.

Everyone giving me some beautiful recommendations. I will carefully research each fish that was recommended to me. As for the venestus and peacocks will be upgraded to a 125 as soon as I have more money and space.
