They look so amazing and beautifulBeside scarfing up eaten food, the Synodontus would be geographically correct in an African tank, and enjoy the same hard water parameters the rift lake cichlids do.

Here's pics of my clean up crew, the Red Tail loach & Berdmorei Tiger.
I have have kept a Bushy nose pleco with my Shellies and that tank was kept at 9ph. I also have a Syn. Mulitpunctatis in there currently for population control. I use Nerite snails to control algae
Beautiful, would you say they are an aggressive species in general or a species that can hold their own if needed to but peaceful normally?
Both the Red tails & Berdmorei Tiger would be considered agressive species in a standard community tank. They hold their own against African Cichlids and small to midsized aggressive Central & South American Cichlids.
