yup he's an indo. depending on what kind of cichlids you have he might get beat up. i have a 3" dat in with two severums and he can hold his own. i doubt he'd hang with a jag but he is smaller than they are by a good 1.5"
$40 is alot for that size,so you should of definitely done your research.you can get them for about $20 that size.
