Found the owner and she decided that I could have her... Any way any one have a specific dog food our something for a toy dog? I just want to bring out the best in her

Go to a farm store rather than a pet store fort dog food or look into natural RAW food from a meat butcher can be as low as $2.00 a pound

For dry food I like Orijen. That's cool you ended up being able to keep her! Did the owner just not want her anymore?

Dude if they just gave the dog to you they never loved it, its way better off with you. Give that the pup love and attention it deserves, Im sure it already apprieciates you.. I hate people that get dogs and just think of them as a shelf item, or get a puppy then neglect the dog its whole life. People like that dont deserve the right to own a dog.
Id go with a quality food that has no addatives, I use wellness for all three of my dogs, 50-12lbs, you dont need a special small breed dog food as long as its good stuff.
Should try to find out if the dog is updated with its shots, you can get them done at petco 10x cheaper than the vet. They have a vet come by usually one a month you can check online to see when, if there is one near you

I rescued this little pup, just given to me by the owner as a 6 month old. Sick and neglected, although I didnt know. She ended up having extremely advanced tape worm
, 1000 bucks to cure her and treat my other 2 dogs so they wouldnt get sick from her. Thankfully she is all good now and 3yrs old.

The owner had two, her and a male. She says they are more work than she thought and that it seemed like I was a good owner so I could keep her... Im so happy lol.. I feed the butcher shop meat to our rottweilers idk if it's that she is small but feeding that to her never crossed my mind... Right now she is eating purina puppy chow and cesars...
Beautiful dog.. i would say someone is looking for their pet.. check the local ads including vet office etc.. i cannot tell the size from the pic.. if it were very small puppy i may quess that it is part pomerian type.. if larger pup eskimo or samoyed or even white spepard mix .. it could even be pedigree.. it looks like a beauty..
what did the owner say about the breed of dog..sounds like a good food.. just add some little bits of boiled chicken or turkey..
Congrats!! I'm so happy she had a good home now! My boyfriend's dog was neglected when he got her. She's black lab and australian shepherd. I guess a hunter decided to get her and took her for training and the guy took one look at her and wouldn't do it. So his answer was to chain her up in the back yard and let her rot. She's now a big fat keg of a dog! And the sweetest personality too! Its a shame what people do.....
