what kind of fish are thease???

i caught these fish in a hot spring and i have no idea what they are. other types of fish i know are in the spring are africans, convicts, fire belly, and talapia. my best guess on these guys are a hap of some sort? they have a huge mouth and a big midsection the goes off to a small body.and there pectoral fins curve up. any ideas?

wow, they look really strange... you said hot spring? how warm is the water there?

the water is around 84 degrees year round. it also has tons of sword tails along with the others.

well my guess is they are a hybrid of some sort. look kinda like a hap or a bass. pretty ugly i must say they also have huge eyes and the big one is about 7 in his pectoral fins are red.

big eyes yes but you should see the darn things mouth. i have a 12 in jaguar cichlid and the 7in things mouth is bigger then the jags ha
