WHAT KIND OF FISH IS THIS? HELP

Whats up fellow MFK's, Im really trying to find out what this guy is. He was at my lfs for a while in there display tank and I went there today to see if they would sell him to me but he was sold yesterday. 3 different people that worked there told me 3 different things. One told me he was a Wolf fish which is wronge. the other 2 said he is either a African pike or tiger barracuda..... maybe you guys can help. thanks



sorry this is the only pic i have that i took months ago when i first seen him. he was a dark silver and had so tiger looking stripes across his face and tail.

thats what I thought but all my research they look very similar but have some differences , this guy was darker and had tiger stripes across his face and tail. all the african pikes that ive seen had clear tails and no tiger stripes. or is the african "tiger" pike different then the normal african pike because I cant find anything or any pics of a african "tiger" pike.
 
thanks guys now that i know its a odoe for sure, im ganna have to look into getting one, I heard that are great fish to keep. very active and lightning fast during eating time. thanks.
