ohhh are they good cleaners like the common?
I wouldn't treat them as cleaners. Farlowellas do eat algae but I don't rely on fish to do the job. I still do the cleanups myself.

oh cause i have 5 tanks and 9 common plecos and they do an outstanding job clening my tanks but i wnted something diffrent do you know of any diffrent type of algae eaters that are exotic besides plecos that do a good job on algae

What kind of algae do you have? For your information, several species of "common" plecos range from 18 to 22 inches in size so taking adult size into consideration, large tanks are really a must. Stick with smaller species such as Ancistrus sp. and Panaque maccus. What fish do you have in each tank?

Still his own thread and the information given out are still equally important.;)

I can guess Farlowella gracilis for now as it is one often available.
