crap. I think by looking at photos of what you have all said, gill blue is right. Oddly enough, when asked if this fish was in with others, it had been houses with yellow labs and kenyi africans as well as a few others. From what I have been reading they are extremely aggressive. Although it does seem to get along with all the other fish in the tank, I will assume that is because it it still young. Am I also to assume that it will become much more aggressive as it reaches sexual maturity? I do have other genus of cichlid, all female, except for one other one (5 in total) but I am not sure of the gender of this one, so there may be 2 males, but different species. How aggressive are they? I do have plenty of hiding spots, drift wood, plants, etc. for them all to hide when necessary. Thanks for your input so far, I am really starting to hate the LFS's around here, they seem very uneducated to the stock they have, either that, or they just want to sell it off, regardless of the damage they are doing.
