What kind of fish is this?

It doesn't looks like a baby creek chub to me. Perhaps next time take a pic of the fish in question in the water so we can ID it very well instead of on the hands.

I dont see how I can take pictures of fish that I caught in a net out of a muddy swamp, like the Mudminnow, or out of the whitewater underneath a dam, such as this one, in the water.

You don't bring one of those specimen boxes with you when you collect?

This is what you should use for taking a picture of fishes, Bottomfeeder...not in net or on the hand.

I dont collect. I havent taken a fish out of the wild in years. Both of the fish ID's I have posted this week were taken while on herping trips... the Mudminnow while looking for Frogs, this fish (which I believe to be the Dace I mentioned above) while in search of Watersnakes.

And both fishes you caught weren't ID properly. There's a chance that this fish may NOT a dace or a chub. At first look I thought it was young chubsucker.
