What kind of fish is this?

I dont collect. I havent taken a fish out of the wild in years. Both of the fish ID's I have posted this week were taken while on herping trips... the Mudminnow while looking for Frogs, this fish (which I believe to be the Dace I mentioned above) while in search of Watersnakes.

I love your interest In native fish and thanks for posting pictures.....we don't mean to be rude, but with fish its very hard sometimes to tell without seeing the fins, even with adult fish (sometimes it takes scale counts and the knowledge of which creek or river the fish came from to distinguish the types) and for that, those specimen boxes are the bomb.
