It is dying and has been a part of a very successful aquarium for many years. So long that I no longer recall the species.

looks to be blackspot barb dawkinsia filamentosa
Looks to me like Dawkinsia rohani
It was defintely a Dawkinisa rohani. It's easy to tell them apart from a filament by looking at the tail lobes. The filaments have a black and red dot pattern in each lobe, but the Rohani's (Tear Drop barb) have only a read smear as coloration in the tail. My Rohani barbs:
