what kind of fish this is ?

Hi,

Can anyone help me identify those fish ? I know it's silver something but i don't know the rest. Maybe it's some kind of barb. They were with red-tailed barb at the store




I got two of those right now. The woman at the store told me there would be no problems with my gold barbs,giant danios, rainbow shark

Hard to tell from poor photo, but it looks like a tinfoil barb (Barbonymus schwanenfeldii)

Yes they are hard to photograph. They're always moving

ermm just by looking at the first picture I'ma also have to agree that its a tinfoil barb with xraycer

Just Googled it. I believe you're right. I've never even seen/heard of these fish before. Very cool!

It was the first time for me seeing those fish. I took the ferry boat to visit a different pet store and i found those.

If you have a planted tank and are considering this fish bad idea. This fish is trying to eat my plastic plants. It is breaking part of the fake palnts.

Aside from that the fish is doing well. Is it a very curious fish while beng skittish at the same time. It seems to know his owner.

It seems to get rather "big". Not a monster fish but i would say a good 5" at least.
