I wouldnt mix angels and discus, theyll boss around the discus and they wont do well. I'd lose the knife and add a school of cardinals and some corys, or maybe some rams.what kind of fish?

I'd not go with sevs... This combo works sometimes (gold sev x discus), but the sevs can be too much aggressive for the discus to handle. If you want a small-sized/ non-aggressive/ interesting pred, go with an african butterfly. They're lots of fun.

i think even the rams n small tetras should be fine i have a doz african knives w baby congos n plenty of other smaller fish

The males are territorial, especially with other males. If you get a pair, it should work in your tank. Maybe a trio (1 m 2 f)... But they are stunning even when alone. I keep my lone male with discus, a BGK, and some other tankmates. He's AWESOME. Looks gorgeous in the surface. He even eats floating pellets, but he LOVES little cockroaches.
