what kind of heater should i get

some how today my fish broke a nother heater i was looking on drs f and s and found this http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=3578+3743+21323&pcatid=21323 im looking for a shatter proof one for a good price and i usally put two in a tank in case one fails like one did so what do u think in need

You might want to try Marienland stealth heaters I have used them in the past. There made with the same material as bowling balls. I think those Eheim Jager heaters are the best heater that I have ever had. Hope I helped.

i just bought a stealth one, my bro has a Eheim Jager 150W with his turtle and they both are pretty good.. but if u want shatter proof, get the stealth ones =)

Get a Hydor inline heater if you have a canister filter. its less equipment in the tank or sump. i like ebo jager heaters too. both are good quality. Ive heard about stealth heaters malfunctioning. I have all three heaters and would choose the hydor if i had to pick one to keep.

uhh i dunnoz about warranty, but i never had a problem with the malfunction of the heater... what size is ur tank?

Go with Hydor inline. Nothing in the tank to worry about! I use it and I'll never go back to an in tank heater again.
