I have a 120. My stealth failed in the on position. I was lucky enough to catch it before it cooked my fish. I am now using a jaeger.

All heaters have a failure rate. Many folks have had luck with the stealth. the failure rate is to high for my taste.

the best way to do it is to go with a controller as a backup to hut off the heaters if they fail.

Go with Hydor inline. Nothing in the tank to worry about! I use it and I'll never go back to an in tank heater again.

I love not having tank space taken up by a heater.

+1 for the Hydor inline heater. No glass dildo in the tank, and it keeps temperature very steady.
