What kind of knifefish is this?

i got it from the pet shop two days ago. i think it's pretty slick.. no stripes or dots. would it grow the same size as the clown? it's about 3 inches long when i got it.

I not to sure but I believe that those are pretty uncommon.

Definately Notopterus Notoperus. They're suppose to be the smallest of all the Asian Feather Fin at 24" but the most aggressive. Pretty hard to find. Good job

looks like an african brown knife to me, they get around 10-12 inches and are one of the more peaceful knives
