I get sad when ever i come here for the reason i don't have any "real" monsters. I was supposed to buy a baby silver aro for my 55 but my mom said it would be a waste of time and money if i bought it and 6 months later i had to get rid of it (she wouldnt let me get a bigger tank). I want some kind of monster that will go ok with 3 discus, 6 brichardi, 3 flamebacks, 1 ahli, 1 bn plec, 1 red eye tetra, and 2 sailfin mollies and fit in a 55 gal. with a sand substrate.

thanks,
kevin

It's going to be very difficult to find a stereotypical "monster" to live with those fish you have listed.
If I was you, I would enjoy what I had and just wait it out for a true "monster" setup

monster+molly+tetra=fat belly.

id get another tank, maybe a 75, and get a jag. that should give you your fix.

I agree with rallysman. Just enjoy what you have now. Come here for your monster fix until you can get a monster tank of your own :). Monster tanks can get very expensive too as the bigger the fish, the more they eat. My wife still looks at me funny when I start buying fish food at the market. She says they eat better than we do, LOL.

Just wait till u can get a bigger tank bud .

I would enjoy the set-up you have now, a monster would only cause havoc on your tank! I am getting my monster fix from this site and my crazy bronze puffer in a 20 gallon long, I don't know how long that will hold me!!
