i got a pike from petco but i am not sure what type it is or the sex, can anyone help me

Saxatilis pikes are hard to identify without locale information, and your's is definitely in the saxatilis grouping. Most saxatilis pikes range from 6-12", most around 8-9".

I'm leaning towards lucius because of the non-occelated humeral blotch which connects with the oribital stripe.
