What kind of royal pleco is this?

Lol thank you. I believe he said it was a watermelom. I've never owned plecos other then the common species and bristlenose

usually they do have the stripe when young but looking at the first picture of your last set of pictures you can kinda see that yours has a stripe that is barely there. They do lose their stripe with age just not as young as yours is. However the defining feature of this species is the lack of orange or red eyes

Ah ok tnx. The shop I bought him from didn't have L designator just had them labeled as Royal pleco. Mac the owner did, however say that it wasn't a normal Royal and should be greenish and develop yellow lines as it gets older. Either way do you think it is a good-looking pleco?
