chikiti china the chinese chicken
just got some new tems in and previous owner fed them shrimp and tilapia, but wondering if it matters if its frozen cooked or frozen raw. will also start training the 5 inch mono's to eat shrimp/tilapia also.

do you guys used Frozen cooked shrimp, or Frozen raw shrimp. and same for the tilapia. thanks

I just run to the store and pick up a big bag of the frozen shrimp and thaw out the portions. That way, it doesnt smell up your fridge in between feedings. I only feed raw, but there is no difference except in taste and the amount of bacteria that the shrimp once had. Being frozen for long periods of time will have probably killed off the bacteria anyhow.

yup...market shrimp....from the grocery store. keep it frozen and only thaw what u need for that feeding...u can even stiuff with pellets...,dont buy them pre cooked...u want em raw.

fresh shrimp from the ocean only :)

Don't buy previously cooked shrimp. Rather, feed raw, frozen or fresh, as it retains all of the nutrients that would have been lost during cooking.
