With house snakes, that's completely wrong. They breed like convict cichlids:eek::WHOA::nilly::jaw:
On one article I read, a guy asked an importer how easily house snakes would breed, and he said "considering they came in breeding in the bag they were shipped in..."

The only problem with House Snakes is that there are a lot of species you can't tell the difference between and if they are different species, they will not breed.

You've got a few lessons to learn if you think that all it takes to breed snakes is a 35 gallon aquarium, lol....and there's a whole lot more to breeding snakes than just putting two snakes together.

Read, research, read, research, then read and research some more.

who said that i thought that i would only need a 35 gallon tank? and i'm not stupid, i know that snakes have lots of special requirements in order to induce breeding. and the reason we want to know what species can be bred in our tank is so that we can do lots of research.

Irish, aurora house snakes and the common brown (the only one with MORPHS) are just about the only ones *easily* avaliable and are nearly always indentified correctly.

And yeah, they breed like monitors. Just one of those things people love overcomplicating.
