WHAT KIND OF TANKS ARE EASY TO MAINTAIN

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
tanya,
Don't get discouraged...MFK is full of hard core Monster fish keepers...
Ones that spend a better part of their free time caring and working on their Aquariums.
Sometimes we forget what it was like to get started in this hobby.
You are doing the responsible thing by researching and asking questions before you take on something you don't have time for.
So as for your original question, there really isn't a no maintenance system for fishkeeping.
Once you get something interesting, it seems to escalate to where most of us are now...
100+ gallons of water, multiple tanks of various aquaria and a daily/weeklymonthly/yearly commitment, that pretty much will take all your spare time..
.In other words this is one addicting hobby to correctly do, but it will give you returns like no other...:D:D:D

A properly set up & balance aquarium would only required daily feedings and weekly water changes. A total of about and hour a week. This is assuming you would spend other time watching the fish. The automatic water changes can be very in-depth and can also get pricey, especially if you are only doing one fish tank.

Don't take them to heart, they are just joking.

Man, I spend a least a hour a week, just wiping off water spots and turning on and off lights!:ROFL::ROFL:

I did not mean in no way any disrespect. Sorry,
none taken, no need for the apology, we are the ones who should apologize we were having fun at your expense, you after all asked a legitamate question, a small tank will not absorb to much time and can be quite rewarding, i would bet tho if you do you will get more and bigger...

Sounds like someone has an efficiency problem. Maybe one day I can show you how to correctly turn those lights off without wasted time.

What about an IndyStyle
"water spot from splashing feeding fish" taker offer?
That's where all the time is spent...It only takes 20 mins for the lights, I got my "clap-on clap-off" switch, but hitting my hands together takes time...LOLOL
