Honestly... If I get any more texas cichlids, they will be Escondido. I will be splitting my carpintis pair for testing. But I really like Escondido pearls...

Some body need to start breeding these pure strains for LFS. Let it be you.

When was the last time you saw an escondido Carpinti at the lfs?

But I did brought one into A+ Tropical lfs couple years ago. So U can't go assuming fishes at the lfs aren't pure like an idiot all the time.

You should breed for your lfs

Yeah I hear you and I wouldn't mind breeding them for my lfs... Only problem with that is I like to get paid for my hard work. My lfs would probably give me $2 per 3" fish and charge $10 for them(not worth my time). That's why I'll stick to breeding rt's and soon ebjd's... They bring in $ no matter what. But as far as this thread goes... Crash I'm wondering if u where to get Escondido's to cross with you rt's, what would their pearl patterns look like?
