What kind of vampire tetra?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Okay, I think I will try to find it a bigger tank. So far it hasn't been very active. It swims around more than a scomb does, but definitely not as much as my bettas. Maybe I can put it in a 29 gallon tank for now and then upgrade as it grows. I would prefer a 50 wide, but chances are I won't be able to find one.

So this guy would need a tall tank?

width is most important for these guys.

i have 2 in a 180 gal 24" wide and its not gonna last much longer. they are very skittish and will not eat/grow if the tank is too small.

a 50 gal wide is not even close to wht these guys need.

Well I don't mean permanently, I just hate putting a 4 inch fish in a large tank. I do not like empty looking tanks, I am planning on getting him a midsize tank for NOW and then a large tank and then a very large tank for when he is an adult.

So I think for now, I might try a 40br, or a 50 wide for his midsize tank for the moment.

thats a raph lol so lucky i have an armatus that i got for 125 dollars i would love to pay double that for a raph if available
