let the fish calm down and relax. Do you guys not know that they look different with moods? Hellooo the fish looks all stressed out and bad photos. When at their best you will always for sure say the opposite. That's just how they do it. If you dont know now you know.

+1 stressed syn. They're colors can change drastically & in a hurry too. My guess is it had poor water quality at the LFS. A couple weeks w/ good water & food & I think you'll see some good colors.

not a couple weeks. Just one day. Can be in 5 minutes.

Thats true, they can change colors in a hurry. I've got a melanarus that seems to change w/ the wind, can go almost black when he is getting bullied.
