What kind of Vieja is this?

I bought this as a Synspilus when it was about 3". Now it's around 9" and not a Synspilus. What is it?

NOT... bifasciata have a distinct horizontal bar that runs from right behind the gill plate to the caudal peduncle.

You probably have some sort of vieja hybrid.

Most do, but many fish will adapt different traits and features with age. common markings will fade into different ones. I've seen plenty of bif's without the common line.

i stand by Bif.
