What language you speak?

English here. I can roughly understand German when written. I get lost if trying to listen to someone speak.

I dabbled with Madarin for a bit. I need to get back at it, but just haven't had the time. I enjoyed what I did learn simply because it was so different.

Portuguese is my native language.
Also speak English and Spanish and still remeber a bit of French and and a few words German from highschool.

But none properly, I would say...

Since I live in Socal I was thinking learning Armenian might be a good idea too.

Didn't know there was a large Armenian population in socal. I've been to a decent sized Armenian church in the suburbs of Chicago but outside of there the only Armenians I've ever met were at family functions.

I've heard outside Armenia, socal has the biggest population of Armenians. Specifically in Glendale, Burbank, Hollywood.

English and Tagalog, mainly. I can understand very little Mandarin, Korean, Japanese and Spanish that if a crowd of any of them were behind me, I can decipher what they are talking about specially if they are gossiping.
