In this hobby, you can never go over board.:naughty:

excited to see this thread develop i have the same type of issue with my novaextreme t5 algae everywhere. interested in co2 info, as i read more i realize its importance in algae control. or so im told lol.

excelent link for the light thanks so much i woud want 6700k and 1 white and one pink bulb correct how is the qaulity of this fixture do you have one

30" T5HO fixtures have 24" bulbs, that won't work well for your tank. 39W T5HO bulbs are 36" long (probably actually about 35", but it's like that with all bulbs)

Nova Extreme fixtures are good, you can get a refurbished one direct from the manufacturer for about $60. http://shop.ebay.com/currentusa/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=

I've read mixed reviews of these, have they worked well for you?

ok so the nova t5 ho light 36" with 2-39 watt bulbs i white and one pink at 10000k should work well for growing the plants i am looking at correct i like this light and it is an excelent deal
