full sand or no sand is best with discus. . . but, go with what your eye's prefer the look of i say.

think i might stick with this log maybe get some wilds , plants and shrimp. Its kewl to see the fish swim thru the obstacles and they seem to luv it. gives a 3d effect. I luv it when they all go underneath the log at once.

i like that last look, with some plants and maybe a few small to medium smooth round and flat rocks at the bottom. that would look nice.
