Large size, high activity level, "personality", and they must have a hearty appetite!

:iagree:

That is why I keep a Buttikoferi and Fahaka as pets, and Stingrays are among my favorite fish ;)

I like Dats because they are unusual, in that, they seem to "taste" their food before taking them in, vs. the other fish that gulps their food and when they find out it's not tasty, they spit it back out. Each Dat seems to have different personalities. I have some that never hide, and have one or two that always hides behind something. I am also attracted to Dats because no one has ever bred them in captivity, or little is known about them. Most of all, I wanted to go visit their habitat in Siam, one day.

I like fish with personality...who doesn't though. I have a special place for cichlids, catfish and natives though, they are my favorites. I don't care how big the fish gets, what it eats, how rare it is, I like them all if they are one of the three I listed. Thats why I have so many common fish. As far as location...New World fish are my favorite. North America, South America...whatever. I also like a certain about of activity in my fish, thats why I am not a big fan of the oddballs or predators, a lot of them seem like turds. There are a few fish I want that do not fall into the Native, cichlid or catfish group. I like arowanas, rays, ropefish and many larger cyprinids.

Breasts.

If I found one with those, I would be afraid that it might start talking back and making honey do lists for me. No way would I want that...

i would have to agree with this, hence wanting more dats

i would say the personality and the way they look or act with other fishes. being able to swollen big feeders whole is always a plus. :headbang2
