Thanks for the input! Duely noted as was Bderics adviceheavyhitter;2694219; said:I really love them and recommend them I have been keeping fish for longer than some people on this forum have been alive.
1. They are cheap ( but I liked when the 110's were like $35.)
2. They last for ever I currently have 6 of them the newest one is 3-4 years old some are @ 9 yrs old and run just aswell as they day they were new.
3. Easy to clean and maintain.
4. Great flow ( but I dont belive 500 gph) have you ever filled a 500g + tank? I dont but a 110 will fill a 500g tank in 1 hour lol)
5. Easy to change media types.
They can rattle abit but I never noticed them, used to it I guess.
I dont recommened equiptment lightly unless I really belive in it but in the aquarium world I recommened 1. Aquaclear filters (70 and 110) 2. Eheim Classic Cannisters 3. Ebo Jager heaters ( i liked the old style better though) The pieces of equiptment have all served be though the majority of 25 years in this hobby. Cheers.
Nice ! thanks for the further advice guys im leaning ac110 nowr3d;2695451; said:ac110 is a great filter, ive got one running with my eheim 2213 and my tank has never been cleaner. mine is also a living room tank and i do not know what these people are talking about when they say it makes a lot of noise, mine is virtually silent (and yes its running)
