Where you powerfeeding them? I like massivore but I find if you have a lot of fish and a bare bottom tank I can get messy.

There are small ST now in Asia we just don't see them because the other side of the world buy them up before we can get a chance too, they also paying the premium price too. If there are Small ST it because they're bein breed in farm since people claim there are no more in the wild.
Ya. An easy 2-3 times per day. A big group of fish is messy period. Lots of wc's.
I grew out 12 0.5" dats before. I didn't offer anything but Massivore. 2 of them took Massivore straight away, within a week they all took Massivore!
