They DO grow them. We had a tank full of Cons at my LFS, had 3 HUGE (6-7") males in it all with BIG humps.

They grow them for the ladies. They like big Koks. it's more attractive. try adding a female and see if his kok grows.

ya no they definatly grow nauchal humps, if you look in the thread "old old old cons" or something like that, they almost all have nauchal humps. I just got mine he is 4.25" and has now paired with my female. hopefully it will grow.

You're correct, they grow Nuchal Humps.

Flowerhorns have koks.

I think dominance is a bigger contributor. Pink cons seem to have a knack for getting big heads. I've had a few that looked like mini midas'.
