I talked to my neighbors, and they said there used to be largemouth bass and channel catfish and there are currently sunfish. Other than those three they haven't caught any other fish.
Im sorry what i meant to say is what part of Georgia are you in....there are several subspecies of Bluegill in the US and in Florida (and maybe southern Georgia) there is the Florida Bluegill pr L. macrochirus mystacalis that at times can have more Blue or purple in the body than most Northern Bluegill species. If you wanted to put these into a tank it would need to be larger than a 55g. Bluegill if thats what they are can be successfully put with Bullheads in a tank with driftwood like Rays of Sunshine, and Ambervikings91 have done.
