Easy! We all make ID mistakes. And some of us make spelling mistakes.

Sorry I don't have the best spelling abillity. I don't really see the resembalence though. Any way one of my friend thought a lmd was a walleye once, that was sad, and every thing he sees that has a stripe he thinks is a lmb, even if the body shape is way off.

oh,i had no idea, someone i know said they were trout.there is only 3 left now.my nile monitor got hungry

Ya i know how it can be sometimes lol. There may be several people fishing, and as soon as someone catches one he becomes the "expert" Once I was fishing and this guy was amazed that another fisherman could tell the difference between a smallmouth and a largemouth bass.....

i was sight fshing with my step-dad and he was amazed i could tell the difference between the bass and carp before i cast to them. and that i could tell a pike from a musky when they where busting shad.

Its hard at first, but after some practice it gets easy. My friends still have trouble spotting fish, I usually end up doing it for them lol

that was just what someone told me they were.i dont go fishing that often, when i do,its just "i caught a fish",not "oh oh i cought a bass".im not on a name basis with all the natives.i know what bluegills sunfish, and catfish look like and thats about it
