Tank size is a 120 gallon, however I do have a 360 also to consider... I have tried the 360 gallon tank before a long time ago, and with a Grammodes, either I am finding he is too aggressive or the other cichlid is too aggressive, I willing to try again. Have anybody been successful with Grammodes sharing tank with other cichlids?

Note: I am talking about raising them up 1 to to inches, along time ago when I tried it worked for a while but as they reached adults, it didn't prove to be a tank watch with to enjoy...

If anyone has had success, please let me know if it is doable or not... Also it would be nice to see pictures and/or video :) Thanks in advance :)

Grammodes have the attitude of a Dovii but not the size. They can try to start some serious battles but are easily put down by bigger bulkier fish like Amphs. However they couldnprobably be kept with Parachromis at similar sizes or durable fish like Cons if they are big enough to take a hit. Just my 2¢

They can be housed with Cubans and many other fish. But understand no matter what fish you have think positive it will have a potential to work.

And have a backup tank on standby :)

I'm going to reintroduce my Blue dragon ZZ FH to my big tank. He is in a smaller 75 with three smaller hybrids I'm growing out. the big tank is a few oscars, dempseys (including electric blue), a green terror that is growing very slowly, a convict couple, and a pushy firemouth. He was living there but started beating up the big male blood parrot after he learned that the parrot couldn't bite back in any meaningful way. I got the parrots a new tank (with the severums :) ) which means I can put Lou (the FH) back home where he can move around again.

He is definitely an amph, but he is a pussycat. The only real turf war he had was with a Green Texas that was just super aggressive towards him all the time. They were fighting over a female parrot's breeding rights :p I'm pretty sure my tank is a sausage fest again with the exception of the convict couple who can't seem to produce spawn (yay!).

I had a grammode with RTM red terror jack Dempsey and a vieja argentea all in a 120. They ranged from 2-4in it worked for a while then the grammode started to beat only the RTM once he was as big as the grammode.

Thanks for advice :) I have had a male Grammodes in the tank with a Pink Fenestratum (I am sure that I misspelled), 5 spot jewel, female Festae, Red Jewel, Nicaraguense. In a 360 gallon tank. It worked for a little while, the 5 spot was relentless... The Grammode will swim around all the time watching his back... Oh I also had a Escondido.

I will try again and try a Cuban, and Maybe a Midas...

Midas is a good option, stick to fish of similar aggression. Midas can have a fight if need be but generally don't bully other fish too often, just keep em in check.
The tank is a bit small tho, if you want a comm of 12 inch aggressive cichlids to work I highly suggest an upgrade to at least 180g. The issue is you generally need 5-6 fish to spread aggression.
Convict and Salvini or just a female in your current tank would we would be best.

I have a 360 gallon, yes I will try a Midas, and Cuban, and maybe a fenestratum, and a few small Cichlids like convict, neet, Salvani, and maybe a Red Jewel, is that too many for a 360 gallon? Are my choices bad to mix with a Grammodes.

Sounds good to me, you could add more if you wanted, try to have an all male tank with the exception of the jewels and cons as they will only take a small patch. Keep the midas as the centre piece and he will run the tank, they make great sheriff's!-)
