i think giant danios are good,but they seem to stay in the upper parts of a tank.another way to go is trade in the danios and try: rainbow fish,filament barbs,congo tetras,T-barbs .i like thecolumbian or BA tetras idea also. just a school of one species.just know that JD might pick off any school fish when larger
