very few zoos, and I mean very few zoos have them in there collection. Mexico does not allow the exportation of its fauna whatsoever, so its illegal to cross... luckily for me.. I have a house in Mexico, alot of things are protected or so they like to say it is, in Mexico. But the truth is, alot of people either kill them cause of superstetion( <-- cant spell), eat them, or dont ever notice them (not just bipes other animals too). My interest in them would be for personal reason, not for expolitation. Very few people keep have them in there collection, normally no one says anything, fearing that USFWS will come and confiscate them...but its a shame. Very little is known about the bipes. I think they're soo neat.
