What PFS ?

I use HTH. Mine has a very slight pink hue , which I like. Grain size is good it doesn’t fly around much and settles quickly.
I had to get mine from a local pool supply store.

I've used pfs from hardware store and it looks ok. It seems to have many different grain sizes ime. When I went to upgrade my tank none of the stores around here had any without chemicals, so I ordered from Amazon. I bought Aqua Quartz and all the grains are very uniform. Also, this sand rinsed clean in just a couple minutes. I would buy again if I ever need anymore

Leslie pool supply is where I bought my pool filter sand. I rinsed it just in case, and there was barely any dust. The grains size is #20 mesh.
