What plants can be tied to driftwood?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
raise that water level... Lol I think that is the ugliest thing about it. I love simple tanks, I hate tanks with lowerd water levels...Simple is alot easier also. Im trying to get some java fern to latch onto my drift wood and its been 2 weeks.. Nothing. Takes a while so if you can handle bands holding the plant in place.

mines no better atm. ignore the foggy tank. I think there is a bit of an algea bloom so turned off the light for a while but this is it now... That light is BRIGHT. Really need a new one.. But honestly with that large of a tank simple is easier. I might get one more big peice of drift wood. Call it a day.

I keep Geos and Gymnos with many plants, and don't find them to be very hard on them.

I do find anubus and any of the ferns best though.

Geo altifrons in the tank below, with a very substantial root system established cryptocorne holds up well

Wow, that looks really nice. How long did it take to grow that?

Thanks, the tank had actually just been set up in that pic. But the anubias are all 3 or 4 years old. Very easy plant to grow

Water level is low because I don't have a lid for the tank right now, and I don't want my Bichirs escaping.
