What Pleco W/ Africans

i have a sultan, orange spot, red leopard and a rhino in my 90g african tank along with loaches and botias and they all get along and are growing nicely.

Personally I would'nt try any pleco just cause they need a diferent ph than africans, of course the're are some that can live with a higger ph but it would affect their healt, better get some synodontis, gold nugget plec's are too beautilful to risk their life...just my two cents

i have known that the rare and expensive hard to breed L200 have been kept and succesfully been bred on african high ph tanks.

i have a royal with mine and they get along just fine for some reason he loves that slate rock

king tiger --- 3 years+
green phantom --- 3 years +
red fin --- 2 years +
sail fin --- 1 year
adonis --- 6 months
chuby --- 1 year
royal --- 3 months

I have tried Sailfin n Royal Plecs with my comm... But my water is near to neutral n if ur PH is so high long term basis might not be a good idea as it may be determental to its health.... But if u realli need to put in one u should introduce it slowly to the high Ph to prevent possible shocks or death
