What puffers do you suggest for a planted 20Long?

If you already have a blue ram in the tank, you might want to rehome it before you put any puffers in there. Even if you get a super tiny dwarf(pea) puffer they will attack it till its dead.

You could get 1 redeye for a tank that size not multiple. Or you could do 4-5 Dwarfs

My Ram community is in a different set-up...30g. I went with 2 dwarfs...they are hilarious. Anyone know how to trim their beaks?

Check out the sticky right about your thread, there is a video of JP doing it.

But if you feed then snails it will keep their teeth from getting to big. I bet they are loving it, that is a lot of space for 2 DP's.

if you want tankmates for the dwarf puffers, here are my suggestions:

otocinclus
bumblebee gobies
kuhli loach
stone catfish

they are all in my 50g tank without any agression from each other.
i've noticed that dwarf puffers aren't agressive with fish that are bottom dwellers.

arent bumblebee goby's brackish water? If thats the case then they shouldnt be with DP's

No need to trim their beaks. DPs don't suffer from that issue.
