I have DCT, DCP & DCQ models running on 3 large tanks and am very pleased with their performance so far, no problems and strong, controllable flow.
The basic order of release of the Jebao models was:
-- DCS
-- DCT
-- DCP
-- DCQ (latest, 2018)
Like with any line of products there were small improvements with each release. As Tobias mentions the main difference between the DCP & DCQ models is that the latter has Wave function in addition to the Feed option that previous models have. With my set-ups I don't need to use either of these functions. The DCQ also has a new "Four-pole electronic motor", whatever that is, but I think it's supposed to be quieter (they're all very quiet anyway). Finally the DCP is dark grey, whereas the DCQ is a very bright red.
There are probably better (and more expensive) brands/models out there but I think insofar as value-for-cost the Jebao are pretty hard to beat.
If you're looking for about 1000 gallons/hr, I'd recommend the DCP-5000 or (~1,320 gallons/hr), or the DCQ-5000 if you can find it, bearing in mind that most of the models can be dialed down via controller by about 46-50%, so they're quite flexible.
Here's a pic of the graph from the DCQ's box I just took:
