I use quiet ones... Ive got a 4000 and a 1200 on 2 different tanks... work great and very little to no noise at all.

I have tunze 1073-020 and 040 its the same pump as the sicce 3 and 4, and i tell you made in Germany, they are excellent pumps, better then eheim 1260 and 62, and the best its they use half of electricity of eheim.
